Malden Arts Council sponsoring a 4th of July PATRIOTIC DECORATING CONTEST for homes & businesses inside Malden City Limits. Free and easy to sign up at City Hall with your name and address. $50 prize for best patriotic theme in each of the city wards. Deadline to register is Friday, June 26th.
Over 4th of July weekend -- Malden Arts Council patriotic lights/music display at Cotton Belt Park in downtown Malden.
Malden Arts Council hosting a MUSIC TRIVIA NIGHT on September 5th at the Malden High School Gym. Doors open at 5:30 and the music contest begins at 6:00. Teams will compete to name tunes from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Tickets are $10 for an individual or you may form your own team of six people and reserve your table in advance for $50. You may send your entry to Malden Arts Council, City Hall, 201 S. Madison, Malden in advance.....or you may buy a ticket at the door. A concession will be available. Prizes will be given and a fun night of music is planned. All proceeds will be given to the Malden Historical Museum and the Scholarship Fund. Get your friends and reserve a table!!
