The Code Enforcement Division enforces a variety of local ordinances related to the property maintenance and nuisances on all properties in the city of Malden. This is done to ensure a healthy and safe environment in order to provide a high quality of life for residents, businesses and visitors. In addition, the city has adopted the International Building Code, 2021 Edition, including Appendix Chapter A through Chapter J as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of Malden, Missouri.
